Matan hadith أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ رَجُلاً، يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنِّي أُشْهِدُكَ أَنَّكَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، الأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ، الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَقَدْ سَأَلْتَ اللَّهَ بِالاِسْمِ الَّذِي إِذَا سُئِلَ بِهِ أَعْطَى، وَإِذَا دُعِيَ بِهِ أَجَابَ. Terjemahan Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam mendengar seseorang membaca Allahumma innii as'aluka bi annii usyhiduka annaka laa ilaaha illa anta, Al Ahad, Ash-Shamad, alladzii lam yalid walam yuulad walam yakun laka kufuwan ahad Ya Allah, sungguh aku memohon kepada-Mu bahawa aku bersaksi kepada-Mu bahwasanya Engkau tidak ada Tuhan selain Engkau, Yang Maha Esa, Yang bergantung kepada-Nya segala sesuatu, Dia tiada beranak dan tidak pula diperanakkan, dan tidak ada seorangpun yang setara dengan-Mu. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam lalu bersabda “Sungguh kamu telah memohon kepada Allah SWT dengan suatu Nama yang apabila Dia diminta dengan menggunakan Nama itu, maka Allah pasti memberi, dan apabila ia berdoa dengan menggunakan Nama itu, maka Allah pasti mengabulkannya. Takhrij HR. Ibnu Hibban no. 891, daripada Buraidah ra. Syeikh al-Arnauth menilai sanad hadith ini sahih dalam Takhrij Sahih Ibnu Hibban no. 891.

As morning dawns upon me, I bear testimony before You and before the angels who carry Your Throne and all Your angels and all of Your creation that truly, You are Allah , there is no god but You, The One and Only God without any partner, and that truly, Muhammad is Your special devotee and Your Prophetic Messenger. Allahumma inni asbahtu ush-hiduka. . . Abu Daud narrated that Anas bin Malik said that the Prophet pbuh said “When one says, Allahumma inni asbahtu ushhiduka, wa ushhidu hamamalata arshika… until the end of the dua, Allah will free a quarter of him from the fire, and if he recites it twice Allah will free half of him, and if he recites it three times Allah will free three quarters of him, and if he recites it four times [Allah will] free him from the fire.” Listen to the recitation here Allahumma inni asbahtu usyhiduka Allah has made things so easy for us, something as so light on the tongue like this simple dua and yet it is filled with so much benefit.
